Congratulations to oTerrible Sleeperne of our own!   Constance Panton published her first children’s book entitled, “Danielli Brambelli: The Terrible Sleeper”, where in rhythmic prose Constance recounts the terrible sleeping habits of her youngest daughter.

Constance is a strong advocate for children’s literacy; she volunteers her time as Council secretary and Education Co-chair of the Essex Council Pioneers.  Working with the Pioneers gives Constance the flexibility to assist, develop and create programs that will help children in the Essex County, NJ area.  She earned her Masters Degree in Elementary Education, and she occasionally substitutes in predominately urban school districts.

Her book, Danielli Brambelli: The Terrible Sleeper, is available at Barnes and Noble, BN.com, and Amazon.com.  Please join in the celebration of the first of what we hope are many more books to come!

Dear Newark Council Pioneers:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the individuals who participated in making wishes come true for children involved with the Division of Youth and Family Services.  Thanks to you the kids felt special and had a happier Christmas.

We know the Holiday Season is a very busy time of the year but its wonderful when individuals find the time to think about those who may be less fortunate.

Again, thank-you for all you did to make a child’s Christmas happier!

Miriam and Aurelia

Dish It Up!

Thanks to you, the DISH IT UP project is a huge success!! We fed approximately 100 people at
House of Love Soup Kitchen in Newark, NJ on Tuesday, September 28.
We collected approximately 440 lbs. of food here at our Newark location! The food has been
equally divided between House of Love Soup Kitchen which serves northern New Jersey and
NORWESCAP which serves western New Jersey.
Thank you again for your cooperation, participation and generosity.
Yours in pioneering,
